This webinar featured an insightful conversation between Helen Clark and international affairs journalist Peter Bale as they reflected on this year’s United Nations General Assembly, the many pressing issues facing the world and what it all means for New Zealand.

Peter Baleis a New Zealand-born journalist and consultant who has worked for leading news organisations including Reuters, CNN, The Times, and Financial Times. He was CEO of investigative journalism non-profit the Center for Public Integrity when its ICIJ arm reported the Panama Papers. His work has appeared in New Zealand in The Spinoff, BusinessDesk, Newsroom, and The Listener. He and Bernard Hickey host a weekly podcast on Aotearoa and the world, The Hoon.
