Membership Terms & Conditions

The Helen Clark Foundation is a registered charity. Membership subscription costs are not tax deductible as a charitable donation, however any donations above the cost of membership are tax deductible.

Annual memberships renew once per year on the anniversary of your registration, and you will receive a reminder one week prior to the renewal.

Monthly memberships are charged once per month, and you will receive a reminder one week prior to renewal.

Refunds will be provided at the discretion of the Helen Clark Foundation.

Donation Terms & Conditions

The Helen Clark Foundation is a registered charity, and donations of $5 or more are tax deductible. You will receive a donation receipt following payment.

Monthly donations are charged once per month, and you will receive a reminder one week prior to renewal.

Refunds will be provided at the discretion of the Helen Clark Foundation.

New Members Promotions

From time to time, the Helen Clark Foundation runs membership promotions.

July 2026 Membership Promotion - Complimentary book offer – Terms and Conditions

• The offer is available to new Helen Clark Foundation members who join during the promotional period: 1 July 2026 – 7 August 2026 (11:59 pm NZT).
• One complimentary copy of Facing Up to Our Future: Challenges and Choices for New Zealand will be provided per eligible membership.
• Complimentary copies will be shipped to New Zealand postal addresses only.
• Books are expected to be dispatched in late July/early August 2026.
• No digital or e-book version of the publication is currently available.
• The Helen Clark Foundation reserves the right to substitute or withdraw the offer if necessary.

$1 Membership Promotion – Terms and Conditions

• The $1 Membership Promotion was available from 30 October 2025 to 31 October 2025 inclusive.
• During the promotional period, eligible individuals could purchase a new Waged or Concession Membership to The Helen Clark Foundation for $1 for the first year of membership.
• The promotional price applied to the first year of membership only.
• Memberships purchased under this promotion automatically renew annually in accordance with the Foundation's Membership Terms and Conditions unless cancelled by the member.
• Upon renewal, memberships purchased under this promotion renew at the standard membership rate applicable at the time of renewal.
• Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting The Helen Clark Foundation.
• The promotion was available only for memberships purchased during the promotional period and could not be applied retrospectively to existing memberships.
• The Helen Clark Foundation reserved the right to amend, extend, or withdraw the promotion at any time.
