Commissioned by the The Helen Clark Foundation and produced by theNZ Institute of Economic Research (NZIER), the paper considers the importance of the food and fibre sector to New Zealand’s future prosperity, and sets out pathways by which it can grow value sustainably in the years ahead.

To mark the launch, Helen and Paul discussed how the food and fibre sector can meet changing international expectations around sustainability and climate change, and the skills and capabilities firms will need to be competitive in export markets in the years ahead.
