Pandemic threats are inevitable, but epidemics and pandemics are choices. World leaders now have a choice: prepare for the next pandemic — or risk a repeat of the disastrous last two and a half years.
Co-hosted by the Helen Clark Foundation and WSP New Zealand, this event featured the Rt Hon Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and Co-Chair of the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response set up by the World Health Organization to review the global handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
After some opening scripted questions, there was a Q&A session where webinar viewers submitted questions for consideration.
Kathy Errington, Executive Director of the Helen Clark Foundation, chaired the session, and Neil Barr of WSP gave a short introduction.
