Introducing the Donors' Circle

A new community of members and supporters whose regular giving sustains our work

Helen Clark Foundation

16 December 2025

The Helen Clark Foundation plays an important role shaping a fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable New Zealand.

We are unique in our country’s policy landscape - non-partisan, future-focused and dedicated to real-world solutions in public policy (see the range of our recent reports and webinars). Our influence is growing - and that’s thanks to our supporters.

This year we have launched our Honorary Fellows programme, bringing together some of New Zealand’s most respected thinkers across a range of disciplines, and we have released four major reports.

As always, we want to do more: generate more sound policy proposals, host more events, have greater positive influence on the policy process, and create more opportunities for our members to join conversations about New Zealand’s big challenges.

To make that possible, we invite people to join the Donors' Circle.

The Donors’ Circle is a new community of Foundation members and supporters whose regular giving sustains our work and ensures we can remain independent, responsive, and ambitious.

As a member of the Donors’ Circle, you’ll be:

  • Named in our reports as part of the group that makes our work possible (opt-in).
  • Recognised on our website for your ongoing support (opt-in)
  • Eligible for tax deductibility on your regular donations.

By giving $100 or more each year through a regular monthly or annual donation, you’ll join the Donors’ Circle and help the Foundation to continue producing world-class research and advancing the conversations that shape New Zealand’s future.

You can join the Donor’s Circle here.

If you believe evidence-based policy is needed to make New Zealand fairer and stronger, we invite you to join us.

The Impact of Your Support

Your support makes everything we do possible - from producing new research and policy ideas, to hosting our honorary fellows programme, to running public events and member-only webinars that bring people together for meaningful conversations about New Zealand’s future.
