Helen Clark Foundation

1 March 2026

This month marks seven years since the Helen Clark Foundation was established.

From the outset, our aim has been to contribute evidence-based policy proposals to the public conversation and to help shape a fairer, more inclusive, and more sustainable New Zealand.

Through rigorous research, sound recommendations, and engaging events, we have worked to strengthen debate on some of the most significant challenges facing our country. From social cohesion and democratic resilience to economic fairness and environmental sustainability, our focus has remained steady on implementable policies grounded in evidence and informed by diverse perspectives.

As we mark this anniversary, we invite those who share these values to consider joining us as a member of the Foundation. Membership helps ensure that independent research and constructive dialogue continue to have a place in New Zealand’s public life.

To celebrate our seventh anniversary, new members who join this month will receive a complimentary Foundation tote bag* - our way of saying thank you for supporting independent research and public debate.

*This anniversary offer is available to New Zealand-based members, with tote bags posted at the end of the promotional period.
